Jo is responsible for engaging with the Institution's members and supporting the IES Communities. She has a BSc in Infection and Immunology from UCL and an MRes in Cancer Biology from Imperial College London. Jo is passionate about sustainability and engaging effectively with environmental experts to promote transformative change. Previously, she has worked for a charity supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to get into the STEM sector, bringing a strong drive to improve diversity within the field and skills in volunteer engagement with her into this role.
