NCLOG and LCC Webinar: Air quality monitoring on contaminated land sites
Free and open to all
This webinar will present the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) & the Land Condition Community guidance on Air Quality Monitoring on Contaminated Land Sites and will focus on what professionals working in contaminated land and land condition need to know.
First, there will be a presentation from Sarah Horrocks on the monitoring and management of air quality on brownfield remediation sites, focusing on the new IAQM and Land Condition Community Good Practice Guidance. This presentation will highlight the benefits of a more integrated approach between air quality, land contamination, planning, and engineering disciplines. Sarah will also outline what good practice looks like for monitoring of air pollutants, including individual compounds and the odours that they contribute on remediation sites and how this assists in complying with the regulatory framework which governs remediation activity. This will be followed by David Rudland providing a local authority perspective on air quality monitoring at brownfield sites.
After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to ask both presenters questions during our Q&A. This webinar is hosted by the National Contaminated Land Officers Group (NCLOG) and the Land Condition Community. It is free and open for all to attend.
