The IES is committed to enhancing the understanding and development of environmental science and scientists. With this in mind, we publish guidance and recommendations to aid members in their work. These support improved knowledge and promote best practice and evidence-informed approaches. 

In addition to the resources available on the IES website, the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) publishes guidance and position statements, and the Foundation for Water Research (FWR) publishes a range of content, including books, guides and reviews of current knowledge.
