National neighbour noise survey launched
With Noise Action Week (11–15 May) coming up, we are very pleased to announce the opening of the Neighbour Noise Survey for submissions.
The University of Salford is conducting Neighbour Noise research, supported by the UK Government's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). This research is part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Sound Futures, a major UK initiative delivering an unmatched level of expertise and cutting-edge facilities for PhD training in acoustics.
To fill out the questionnaire about the Neighbour Noise you have experienced whilst living in the UK, please follow this link: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/salford/neighbour-noise
The questionnaire is anonymous and only takes 5 minutes to complete.
The data will inform the next phase of research, exploring which aspects of Neighbour Noise lead to annoyance or other reactions, and how these may affect human health.
