Climatology & Carbon Management Ecology & Conservation Energy Sustainability

As renewable energy deployment accelerates, developers are increasingly exploring how projects can contribute to nature recovery as well as climate goals. This webinar will examine how solar and wind energy developments can be implemented in harmony with nature, drawing on recent International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) guidance and international case studies. It will also explore the evolving definitions and distinctions between biodiversity impact mitigation, biodiversity enhancement, nature-inclusive design (NiD) and nature-based solutions (NbS), and what these concepts mean in practice for the renewable energy sector.

This webinar is free and open to all.
