EIA Community Meeting: From impacts to outcomes - implications for EIA professionals

Join us for the first Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Community meeting of 2026, where we will be discussing the recent government consultation response on Environmental Outcomes Reports (EORs) and what this means for EIA professionals.
You will also hear about what the Community has done so far in 2026 and details on upcoming activities for the rest of the year.
Our EIA Community provides a forum for thought-provoking, critical conversations around EIA from a science-based perspective. The Community aims to connect and support environmental scientists and practitioners working across a range of specialisms involved in the EIA process.
Community meetings provide an opportunity for EIA professionals within our membership to steer services for their specialism, discuss topical issues in the sector, and network with fellow environmental professionals. All IES members working in EIA with an interest in contributing to community activities are welcome to join us for this meeting!
