The webinar has been organised by our Climate Action Community, an interdisciplinary community that champions transformative approaches to reshaping unsustainable systems. It brings together IES members from across specialisms and sectors for regular events and discussions, exploring topics related to climate adaptation, mitigation and resilience. Our speakers
Dr Matthew Ling is Nature-based Solutions Lead at GHD, with over 18 years of experience in biodiversity, climate resilience, natural capital, and green infrastructure. He advises clients on integrating Nature-based Solutions into infrastructure, policy, and investment decisions, and leads GHD’s role in SSEN’s pioneering Nature4Networks innovation programme. Prior to joining GHD, Matthew led the Cambridge Canopy Project for Cambridge City Council and spent nearly eight years at the UN Environment Programme's World Conservation Monitoring Centre, delivering international projects on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and environmental decision making.
