Our Employability Workshops have traveled to campuses around the country and are now coming to your own computer screen.

If you are:

  • a current Student or Graduate looking for your first job in the sector
  • unsure how to begin your job hunt
  • looking for some extra support in preparing for employment

Then look no further! These interactive workshops are designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to secure your dream job after graduating.

This online Employability event will focus on how to build your CV and ensure it is suitable for applying for roles within the environmental science sector.

You will receive in-depth guidance about the format of your CV and how to efficiently tailor it to the needs of each job application, as well as advice on how to talk about your education and work experience to suit the sector. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your own CV with the facilitator and receive tailored feedback.

Are you an IES student member?

This free workshop is open to all current Student or Graduate Members and will be restricted to 25 participants per workshop. You must be logged in to book your place.

Not a student member? Don't worry, if you are enrolled on an IES accredited course you can sign up for free IES student membership. Find out if your course is accredited and sign up for Student Membership (ask your course leader for the validation code)

Join this workshop to find out how to compile a knock-out CV and stand out from the crowd.
