Contaminated land (NCLOG)

EPIC is proud to have the National Contaminated Land Officers Group (NCLOG) lead our work on land contamination, bringing the expertise and experience of local authority Contaminated Land Officers into the heart of our community. NCLOG joined the IES family in 2025 and, as part of EPIC, provides a dedicated home for Contaminated Land Officers to connect with colleagues, share knowledge, access professional development and work together to address the challenges facing the sector.

NCLOG acts as the national voice for Contaminated Land Officers across the UK, working closely with government bodies, regional contaminated land groups and other key stakeholders to promote high-quality, consistent regulation and management of land contamination. Through its guidance, events, policy work and peer support, NCLOG helps practitioners navigate an increasingly complex policy and regulatory landscape and strengthens the collective voice of those delivering this work on the ground.

Membership of NCLOG is free for local authority professionals working in contaminated land. To join NCLOG, you must first join EPIC.
