Join a new FWR Technical Panel

FWR logo on faded river scene

The Foundation for Water Research (FWR) joined the IES family last year, expanding our work in the water sector. To support this expansion, the IES will soon be launching the FWR Community: a cohesive, innovative, and independent-thinking community of water professionals offering guidance and strategic thought leadership for the IES’s water activities. The FWR Community will use an integrated, systems-thinking approach to water issues and their interactions with land and air.

The work of the FWR Community will be informed by three technical panels which will lead on the Community's activities for their respective specialism:

  1. Water Environment & Ecosystem Services Technical Panel
  2. Water Resources & Quality Technical Panel
  3. Sustainable Wastewater Management Technical Panel

Join a technical panel

We are looking for IES members with expertise in one of the three areas above to join a technical panel and help shape IES's work within their specialism. You will have the opportunity to feed into the work of the FWR Community, network with fellow professionals and shape our water research, events and public engagement.

If you have any questions about the process, please don't hesitate to get in touch

Stay up to date on the sector
