Governance
Every member has a say in how the IES is structured and who represents them
Leading the sector and our community
The IES is a registered charity and limited company.
Our governing board is called 'the IES Council', and its members are both trustees of the charity and directors of the company. The majority of Council members are elected from the members, with a smaller number appointed. The Council provides strategic leadership and direction, whilst also ensuring good governance and oversight.
