FWR Committee and Technical Panels welcome new members
The Foundation for Water Research (FWR) is delighted to welcome new members to both its Committee and Technical Panels. The FWR opened for expressions of interest this summer for professionals working across the water sector and subsequently has eight new members joining the FWR Community.
The FWR is governed by a Committee of water professionals who oversee the yearly activities of the Community and engage with the wider IES ecosystem to drive forward strategic objectives.
Elly Ford, Senior Policy Officer at Defra, and Tessa Wardley, Director for Communications and Advocacy at the Rivers Trust, have both joined the FWR Committee.
The work of the Committee is informed by three Technical Panels, who provide expert insights on their focus area and deliver an ambitious work plan of activities aligned with FWR goals. The members of the Technical Panels are a diverse range of water professionals who provide rich perspectives from across consultancy, industry, public bodies, academia and NGOs to feed into discussions and outputs.
The following members have joined these Technical Panels:
- Water Environment & Ecosystem Services
- Liz Lewis, Lewis Projects Ltd
- Ant Parsons, ALP Synergy
- Water Resources & Quality
- Rob Whiting, WSP
- Elizabeth Young. GHD
- Sustainable Wastewater Management
- Rami Elias Kremesti, Kremesti Environmental Consulting
- Aya Farid Youssef, Mott Macdonald
Congratulations and we look forward to working with you!
