The Science Council announces Recognition Awards 2026
The Science Council are pleased to announce that their annual Recognition Awards are now open for 2026. The awards were created to recognise those who are driving progress, championing professionalism, and elevating the science workforce.
This year, the Science Council are excited to announce a new award – the Inclusion Champion Award. This award will spotlight an individual or team that has demonstrated impact in advancing inclusion within the science professions.
Interested parties are invited to self-nominate and share the nomination forms with colleagues. All nominees will receive a certificate, and winners will be presented with their awards at the Science Council’s Celebration of Science event later in 2026. The event will bring together professionals from across the scientific landscape to celebrate excellence, share ideas and acknowledge the remarkable contributions that strengthen the scientific community.
