The role

Turn your passion for the environment into meaningful impact. Our Sustainability and Environment teams work on some of the most exciting and challenging projects in climate, nature, water and place. They are helping our clients create resilient communities, restore natural environments and build a more sustainable future.

You'll work alongside specialists in fields including ecology, rivers, sustainability, landscape, heritage, environmental planning, climate adaptation, natural capital, social value and environmental science.

From Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and hydrogeology to planning, permitting and environmental management, you'll gain valuable experience across a diverse range of projects. Your work will help to deliver sustainable outcomes, meet environmental obligations and create lasting value for people, places and nature.

The JBA Graduate Scheme is a two-year development programme designed to help you build the professional skills, technical expertise and confidence needed for a successful career at JBA.
Supported by the dedicated Graduate Scheme Coordinator, you'll follow a structured development journey centred around a core set of professional competencies. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to explore different areas of our work and develop expertise in one or more technical specialisms, supported by rotations, project opportunities and collaboration across our multidisciplinary teams.
