In December 2013, Glasgow produced a Draft Noise Action Plan for the Glasgow Agglomeration. The expert acoustics professionals in Environmental Protection Scotland's noise group produced this response to inform the plan.

Environmental Protection Scotland joined the IES family in 2025 as part of the Environmental Policy Implementation Community (EPIC).
