New appointments: Letter from the Environmental Policy Forum
Following the 2019 general election and the subsequent appointment of various Ministers, George Eustice became the Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.
The Environmental Policy Forum (EPF), a coalition of 17 professional bodies, wrote to the new Secretary of State, offering a welcome and refreshing a dialogue on key policies such as the then Environment Bill.
Supporting the letter, the IES signed and echoed the message: it was a particularly important time for environmental policy.
