VAT exemption for retrofitting buildings: Joint letter
Ahead of the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow in 2021, this letter was published in the Telegraph, highlighting the need to retrofit buildings to meet climate commitments.
In pursuit of that goal, the letter argued that a VAT exemption could be an appropriate way to incentivise much more widespread action to achieve more sustainable buildings.
The IES suported the letter, which was signed by our CEO, Adam Donnan.
