A call to inputs for the 2019 GSDR

As an outcome of the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) aims to strengthen the interface between science and policy and support policymakers in their efforts to eradicate poverty and promote sustainable development. Since the introduction of the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the GSDR has become a vital source in informing the High Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development (HLPF), with the next publication due in 2019.

As part of their outreach efforts, the team tasked with producing the report are looking for short abstracts or descriptions of case studies in four major categories:

  1. Interactions among SDGs and their targets
  2. Transforming pathways towards sustainable development
  3. Looking beyond the SDGs – major issues identified by research which are not explicitly taken into account in the SDGs
  4. The role of science for sustainable development

The deadline is 1st December 2017.
