Resources & Waste Sector Deal: Letter from the Environmental Policy Forum
In 2018, the UK Resources Council was formed as an informal body to provide government with a single perspective from the wider secondary resources management sector.
After its formation, it held a consultation on a proposed Resources and Waste Sector Deal, an industry-led suggestion for how waste and resources management could be better supported.
The Environmental Policy Forum (EPF), a coalition of 17 professional bodies including the IES, wrote to the UK Resources Council with a response to the consultation, supporting a strong contribution from these sectors towards goals like climate action.
