BNG in Practice Event Series 2025-2026
The Environmental Policy Implementation Community (EPIC) and the Association of Local Government Ecologists (ALGE) ran a BNG in Practice Event Series over the course of 2025, which is now returning for a second series in November 2026.
The BNG event series was developed following on from the publication of EPIC and ALGE's BNG in Practice Report in Febuary 2025. Drawing on insights from over 200 practitioners gathered through survey, workshop and interview data, the report provides a comprehensive analysis of the challenges faced in the implementation of mandatory BNG one year after its introduction and makes over 20 recommendations to government, delivery organisations, and supporting bodies.
The BNG in Practice Event Series was developed to explore some of the recommendations and areas of the report in more detail, through a variety of webinars, workshops and panel discussions.
