IES Webinar - The historic environment - heritage in environmental assessment

Wednesday, 21 June 2023 - 12:30pm to 1:15pm
Online

Archaeology, cultural heritage, the historic environment - these are all terms that get used to talk about one of the more oddly fitting parts of the topics of environmental assessment.

This webinar will give an overview of the key aspects of the discipline before focusing on ways in which it can be integrated with other topics to contribute to sustainable development. Whether that’s through practical aspects, such as combining ground investigations for efficiency, cost savings and carbon reduction, or in using historic archival materials to identify potential bat roosts or ancient hedgerows.
