Your route to Chartership We provide our members with two routes to becoming a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) or Chartered Scientist (CSci), through our self-guided route or through our CEnv in a Day or CSci Accelerated workshops. Becoming a CEnv or CSci highlights your excellence across a range of environmental and scientific disciplines, increases your professional standing and career prospects and, in many organisations, results in higher pay or promotion. Holding a professional registration benchmarks your knowledge of science or sustainability, and communication, management and methodology, whilst providing you with legal credibility to participate as an expert witness at a defined standard. Our guided workshops provide professionals with the opportunity to complete the full application process in one informative and rewarding day. The morning session focuses on advising candidates on their report, ensuring all competencies have been thoroughly demonstrated. In the afternoon, candidates complete their reports and attend their Professional Review Interview. There are a maximum of 5 candidates per workshop to assure everyone receives thorough support and one-to-one advice from the workshop facilitator.
