The IES is excited to announce our return to in-person conferences and events in the coming year. Although we have seen great success in our online conferences and webinars, we know that nothing beats the networking potential of an in-person event and look forward to welcoming you all back now that it's safe to do so.
To support our return we are asking for you to reach out if you have venues or spaces that are available to us to book for events in the coming year. Whether it be a community hall, lecture space, or hotel - we'd love to here your suggestions or be connected with your organisation!
Generally, for our events we look for:
- Sustainable practices and accessibility measures
- Indoor air quality and good ventilation
- Charity rates or free access to charities
- COVID-19 precautions

We are taking government COVID-19 updates very seriously, and will continue to rethink our plan to return to in-person events as new information is released on the current pandemic.
