Member survey on EU membership and UK environmental science

In the run-up to the 'in-out' referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union which has been promised fpor 2017, this issue is unlikely to be far from the news. In this debate it is important that the voices of scientists are heard. To assist the IES in our work on the topic, we have prepared a survey for you to tell us your views and share examples of how the UK's EU membership influences your work and environmental science research in the UK.

The survey should take less than five minutes to complete and will assist the IES in representing the views of members in the debate and ensuring science and the environment are given appropriate consideration.

The information provided in this survey will be used to inform the IES' response to an inquiry of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology in November which is investigating the 'Relationship between EU membership and UK science'. We will also use this information to inform our research and policy activities on this topic over the next year.
