IAQM Early Careers Group

Thursday, 8 June 2017 - 1:30pm
Arup, London

The IAQM Early Careers Group provides a forum to learn, practice presentation skills and network with other early career professionals, in a friendly, supportive and accessible environment. This will be the first of a regular series of mid-afternoon events, where early-career professionals can gain valuable experience in presenting to a moderately sized and supportive audience.

Attendance will count as CPD and will provide evidence of development when applying to upgrade from Associate to Member.

The Group will be having its inaugural meeting on the afternoon of 8th June in London (Ahm & Martin Rooms, Arup, 13 Fitzroy Street).

Registration and refreshments will start at 13:30 followed by talks from the following:

  • Dr Claire Holman, IAQM Chair - Diesel Vehicles and Poor Air Quality
  • Rosemary Challen - Going the Extra Mile for Air Quality Focus Areas
  • Blaise Kelly - Using Raw ATC Count Data with the EFT
  • Malcolm Pounder - Positive Client Liaison and Managing Expectations

These talks will be followed by a technical Q&A session and discussion on the needs of Early Careers IAQM members to shape our future work.

The event will be followed by an (optional) social gathering at a local pub.

This event is now fully booked. Please email Chloe Fletcher to be added to the waiting list.

All voluntary presentation slots have now been filled, but there will be other opportunities to present at future events.
