Please apply at SLR Consulting Ltd

SLR’s Air Quality team has enjoyed strong growth over recent years, with a wealth of new talent joining at Project and Senior grades. To help continue the successful growth the team has enjoyed over recent years, we are seeking a consultant who is keen to further develop their air quality consultancy skills. The candidate should have experience of dispersion modelling (e.g. Aermod/ADMS/ADMS-Roads), industrial air pollution, traffic  emissions, dust and/or odour assessments.

SLR’s “one team” culture, at the heart of its business and central to further plans to expand encourages collaborative working within a supportive environment; and the person (or persons) joining will do so as part of a single, region-wide Air Quality team, and with the resource of its existing expertise to ensure project delivery of new work to the highest standards.

SLR offers an enviable range of 31 individual Environmental, Advisory and Engineering technical disciplines, again all working in unison; so the range of services which we are able to offer clients is unrivalled; and cross discipline collaborative working and breadth of expertise available is key to SLR’s ongoing success. The role presents a great opportunity to combine SLR’s existing resources with your own expertise and knowledge, and to play a key role in shaping how the team grows moving forward.

Location is flexible – our disciplines all work UK-wide as a single team so for the right individual we can usually accommodate a new role in most locations. However, an appointment in Bristol or the South East region, London or Maidstone would be preferable.

Along with competitive salaries, SLR staff also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and travel insurance and pension contributions and a structured career path with real opportunities for progression. Our comprehensive annual review process ensures that the efforts of our staff remain adequately recognised and rewarded. Agile working allows staff to tailor hours worked around core hours of 10am-4pm, and our family friendly policies help staff balance the needs of professional and family life.

APPLICATIONS

SLR Consulting is an equal opportunities employer but our expectations go beyond just complying with legislation. It is SLR's intention that active steps are undertaken to ensure that opportunities are open to all and that as a business, we continue to strive to promote diversity and inclusion and reduce the gender pay gap.
