The Science Council is a charitable body that sets the standards for practising scientists, through professional registration.
We recognise the need to increase and enhance routes to registration and therefore will be establishing a new Routes to Registration Committee this year. We are looking to recruit a Registration Coordinator to lead on this exciting new project. In addition to setting up and running of the Committee, you will support the administrative work of the Registration and Licensing Team to ensure standards are maintained.
Responsible for the Committee’s programme of work you will prepare relevant papers for meetings and ensure follow up actions are completed.
Responsibilities to the Registration and Licensing Team will include supporting the management of registration systems with a particular focus on non-standard routes to registration along with accurately maintaining the Salesforce CRM and other records. There will also be a requirement for you to recruit, train and support volunteers within the team.
You will need to have demonstrable experience of supporting the implementation and delivery of projects from end to end with the ability to identify and develop innovative solutions. You will be self-motivated and process driven with excellent communication and MS Office skills.
It would be advantageous to have experience of setting up and running committees or working groups and an interest in science and an understanding of the science workforce.
