The Science Council is looking for an exceptional individual to lead on updating and managing our registration and licensing standards, to produce a world-class quality assurance system for professional scientists.

The Registration and Licensing Manager will be responsible for the systems and processes that support licensing of professional bodies, to award Science Council registration to their members. You will also oversee the setting of standards for individual scientists and science technicians, which includes the requirements for application and renewal.

The ideal candidate will have experience of building and maintaining relationships with organisations, and be able to spark their enthusiasm and commitment to the high standards you have set for them and for the Science Council.  A stickler for detail, you are also confident with developing and improving systems and processes to support day to day operations. You will be ably supported by the staff team and by staff and volunteers from across the Science Council’s network of professional bodies.
