Due to the unfailing loyalty of our clients and the ongoing success of Silsoe Odours, we are pleased to announce that our specialist, dedicated team of odour experts is growing. As a result, we are now looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant (with a specific focus on odour) to join our small, family-led team. Within this role, you will work directed from our odour laboratory and offices in Wrest Park, Bedfordshire. Initially, we are searching for the right person to join us on a full-time basis. However, we are happy to consider part-time and flexible working arrangements.

THE ROLE
The role is client-facing and will require travel across the UK, with the opportunity to work across various industry sectors. You will work closely with the existing Silsoe Odours team and build positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike. On a day-to-day basis, you will conduct desk and field-based odour assessments, monitoring and investigations. In addition, you will prepare detailed reports on all your findings. You must ensure you carry out all work according to industry standards, specifically European Odour Standard BSEN13725:2003.

THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for a candidate with a background in environmental consultancy. You should have strong technical knowledge of air quality and odour assessment techniques, as well as practical experience. Our specialist team will provide on-site training where needed for complex odour monitoring. You should also hold a BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline, such as environmental, engineering or science. In addition, you must have a full UK driving licence.
