Benefits of Joining the RA
Joining the RA is a pathway to influence the credibility and integrity of science. As a member, you will be involved in developing the high-quality professional standards that scientists and science technicians strive to meet. You will also be ensuring that Licensed Bodies adhere to the Licensing Standards by applying quality assurance processes. It is an opportunity for networking and making a tangible difference in the scientific community. In 2025 we will be undertaking our quinquennial review of standards for Professional Registration so this is an opportune time to be joining the RA.
The expected time commitment is between 6-8 full days per year, including preparing for and attending meetings, and providing advice and input outside of meetings from time to time. The RA will meet four times in 2025 – all meetings are held between 1030 and 230 midweek.
