Dominic Young

Dominic Young is a Chartered Environmentalist endeavouring to ensure the safe redevelopment of brownfield land through sound and robust decision-making. Dominic is currently a specialist contaminated land officer for a local authority, having been in the industry for over 15 years. He holds a MRes Geoenvironmental Engineering and is a registered Risk Assessor with SoBRA.

Dominic has presented at conferences on a number of topics ranging from ground gas to thermal remediation techniques. Dominic currently sits on the Environmental Protection Scotland Expert Advisory Group for Land Quality and the SoBRA sub group on ground gas. Dominic is a full Member of the IES, as well as a member of the IES Land Condition Steering Group, and helps deliver development opportunities for IES members.
