Meeting Room Hire

Please note, recent UK Government announcements of further lockdown restrictions coming into effect as of Thursday 5th November require us to close the IES office. As a result, we are currently unable to offer our meeting rooms for hire until further notice. 

We have taken every precaution to ensure our meeting rooms are now COVID-19 secure. For more details, please see our COVID-19 risk assessment.

Our office, situated in this Grade II listed building on Great Eastern Street, is only a stone’s throw from Shoreditch High Street, Liverpool Street, Old Street, Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market.

This unique space boasts high ceilings, a large operational space and two stunning meeting rooms - The Fjord and The Fjell - which are now open for bookings. As a membership benefit, all Associates, Full Members and Fellows of the IES are eligible for 50% off bookings if they contact us directly.

Please note the following:

  • Minimum meeting room hire is three hours as IES staff will be traveling in especially for these hirings
  • Images below are reflective of the meeting rooms as they will be, with the exception of the seating arrangement, of which will be set at a safe social distance.

The Fjord

Access to guest WiFi, 65-inch TV, and whiteboard. Please note teas and coffees are currently not served.

Prices

Standard £40 per hour / £320 per day**
Charity or Institution (30% discount) £28 per hour / £224 per day
IES Member* (50% discount) £20 per hour / £160 per day
CHES Member Institution (50% discount) £20 per hour / £160 per day
Environmental Charity (50% discount) £20 per hour / £160 per day
*applies to Associates, Full Members and Fellows only
**A full day's booking is normally 9am-5.30pm. Minimum booking: three hours or longer due to staff availability. Other times available subject to staff availability, please enquire.
