As you probably know, the UK introduced the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) to meet our obligation to comply with this European Directive. All EU Member States must implement similar regulations against the same timeline. This means that all eligible companies must comply by 5th December 2015. Not long off.
If you have operations across Europe that are of a similar size to your ESOS compliant activities in the UK, it is likely that they will also be captured by a separate, in country scheme. While the UK has been very proactive in publishing details of the scheme, little is known about the regulations that you will need to comply with in many Member States.
Our webinar will help to dispel this uncertainty and will share insights from our research carried out on behalf of the European Commission. Against this background we will also be offering advice about how to make sure that you are ready for schemes as and when they are announced.
- Christine St John Cox – Chris has worked with businesses on strategy and compliance for over 10 years and has already advised a number of companies on how they approach Article 8.
- Rebecca Turner - Rebecca leads our project with the European Commission.
- Ian Behling – Ian works with Rebecca on the Commission project and is specifically interested in how companies operating Europe are complying with the directive.
