In recent years, the evidence base on the benefits of addressing climate change locally has grown. It is clear that place-based responses to making where and how we live greener and more resilient for the future can be effective and economical. Local government reform brings both challenges and opportunities, and navigating political shifts and changing priorities can be complex. On-the-ground delivery of the transformation needed to address the most pressing issues we face is working - and we need to see more of it.

In this webinar, Karen Barrass shares her knowledge on the role of local climate action in supporting climate ambitions and the lessons learnt from local climate action in practice.
